SMS Opt-In

This page shows how customers opt in to text messages from FundingStartsHere Customer Care, the customer-care text program of FundingStartsHere (a dba of Side Stak LLC, California), sent from our toll-free number (888) 866-4984.

Messages are limited to scheduling appointments with a funding advisor and replying to the customer's funding inquiry. No marketing messages are sent. Message frequency may vary. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Consent is never a condition of service, and mobile numbers and SMS opt-in consent are never shared, sold or rented to third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.

Customers opt in only through the application form on our website:

Our application form at fundingstartshere.com/apply includes a separate SMS consent checkbox below the phone field. It is optional and unchecked by default, and the form can be submitted without checking it. The checkbox reads:

“By checking this box, I agree to receive text messages from Funding Starts Here at the number provided to schedule appointments and reply to my funding inquiry. Message frequency may vary. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help. Consent is not a condition of any purchase or service.” followed by links to our Privacy Policy and Terms.

We record whether the box was checked and the date and time it was checked. We only text customers who checked the box.

After a customer opts in, we send this confirmation from our toll-free number (888) 866-4984:

“Funding Starts Here: You're opted in to texts to schedule appointments and reply to your funding inquiry. Msg frequency may vary. Msg & data rates may apply. Reply HELP for help or call (888) 866-4984. Reply STOP to opt out.”
